Collection: VOR Spey
The VOR series (Icelandic for "spring"): With a minimalistic design, the VOR rods fit seamlessly into our high-quality Nam series of rods. At the same time the VOR offers an ideal introduction to the world of Nam Products due to its price point. The matt black and finely polished carbon blanks is recognized from our other series of rods. Like all our spey rods, the VOR two-handed rod impresses with its deep and powerful action, which is great for both casting and fighting a fish on the rod.
The VOR two-handed rods is aimed for steelehead-, salmon- and sea trout anglers and covers many typical scenarios on the water.
Deep loading, effortless casts with forgiveness, whether you're fishing Skagit or Scandi style, you can make every cast with a VOR two-handed rod!
The 6-piece, travel-friendly spey rods are equipped with a high-quality cork handle that sets standards in this price range. The fighting butt is reinforced with a finish made of robust composite material. All guides are carefully laid and fitted with discreet, black decorative wraps. Small, white markings facilitate the exact alignment of the rod parts and emphasise the simple, Scandinavian design. A black anodised reel seat with double nut ensures a secure hold for the reel.
In short: If you are looking for a modern carbon fibre rod with an excellent price-performance ratio - combined with timeless, minimalist aesthetics - then the VOR series is exactly the right choice! It offers the unmistakable Nam feel when casting - and looks damn good doing it. Thanks to its 6-piece design, it is the ideal companion when traveling and can be easily stowed away in its robust transport tube.

VOR 8132: The 13'2" 8wt 6-piece is a very versatile rod and suitable for typical salmon rivers in Europe as well as in British Columbia. VOR 9140: The 14'0" 9wt 6-piece is the classic rod for a trip to Norway, the big rivers of Sweden or Atlantic Salmon in Canada. If you have to decide on a single rod, then you've come to the right place! The model also works great with a Skagit setup and large flies, but can also be set up with a discreet Scandi setup.
