The newest addition to the Ren+ lineup, the 1190 is a purposely designed Tarpon rod. Designed with the help of veteran Florida Keys guide Mitchell Dugger, this rod has already been put through a full tarpon season worth of testing. A slightly stronger tip section provides more load feel to the angler and an easier ability to carry long lengths of line in the air for accurate and delicate presentations. This translates into more confidence delivering a stealthy presentation when staring down a string of fish approaching with your knees shaking....
The taper also lends itself very well to casting very large flies with shorter and more aggressive lines for fisheries like Musky, Stripers, Roosterfish, and GT's.
